Our company began in 1920 with one product, the famous VIRAX threader, a product that revolutionized the European plumbing market. The name VIRAX means to, "Turn around an axis," and in 2006 VIRAX® turned a new corner as part of The Stanley Works. Together, Stanley® VIRAX® brings over 80 years experience in plumbing tools manufacturing combined with Stanley’s reputation of dependability and performance.

Innovation is at the core of what we do at Stanley VIRAX. Our passion is to create products with the end-user in mind. Our company began by developing a new method of joining pipe, and over 80 years later we are still dedicated to innovating in the connection and assembly category. With the introduction of our ground-breaking line of pressing machines for copper and PEX connections, Stanley VIRAX has delivered true productivity enhancing technology to the North American market.

VIRAX is headquartered in Epernay, France with over 250,000 sq ft of manufacturing, development and test facilities. In North America, we maintain a complete marketing, sales and engineering staff focused on the market’s needs. VIRAX products are available worldwide in over 80 countries through whole plumbing distributors.
